I discovered two bugs in Plug-in Host and Mini Plug-in Host modules with Expert Sleepers SilentWay VST plugin.
1. Very often there is a glitch when opening Silent Way interface by pressing "VIEW EDITOR" button. I see some plugin window borders and nothing else. OpenGL is on, because if I turn it off my performance lowers drastically. I tried it with OpenGL off also on three different machines - same result.
2. When I use SW Voice controller and starting to play rapidly I have all the kinds of weird distortion. My connections are:
1. hardware synth audio out to in 1L of mini plug-in host (for calibration)
2. outs 1L and 1R of mini plug-in host to AUX OUTS to Host 2L and 2R respectively (they are going to my ES-3 module, 2L to hw synth pitch CV and 2R to hw synth gate).
3. MIDI from Host is connected to mini plug-in host (this is the problem, I'm pretty sure).
I have a lot of experience with Expert Sleepers modules and set it up in several different hosts including VCV, so I'm pretty sure I'm doing all the connections right
If disconnect MIDI IN from mini plug-in host and connect CV Outs module's GATE directly to AUX OUTS 2R everything is playing well without any distortion (and of course without pitch tracking). So it's definitely something with MIDI part of VM (resolution or other bug). Since there is no dedicated Silent Way modules in VM there is only option to use them inside Mini plugin host. I tried this on 3 different windows machines. All versions are latest. My soundcard is RME UFX, on second machine it's UA Apollo and on third it's Focusrite RED. Hardware synth - Boomstar 4075 (but I also tried it with Moog Sub 37 - same story).
