So here we go:
note 6 - https://store.cherryaudio.com/modules/note6 - to define six 'volt per octave' CVs equivalent to a midi note. More than one should be used of course.
4x6 - https://store.cherryaudio.com/modules/4x6 - to select which set of CVs to pass further. There are various ways of selection, one way is to send a trigger, gate or any rising signal (even a sine LFO will do) to a particular column, the other way is to send such signal to the Next or the Prev jack. Imagine what you can do with a couple of those and a bit shift register

And the midigator 6 - https://store.cherryaudio.com/modules/midigator6 - to map your drum pads or any other midi device as triggers which will generate gate, start and end gate triggers as well as the velocity, the velocity is the key thing here..

7 days demo available. Feature requests always welcome

Enjoy!
PS. Somebody mentioned I should add MIDI Learn functionality in the note 6 however I'm worried this will make the module wider... What do you think?
