Just did a fresh reset of my PC (windows 11), everything is fine, i reinstalled everything, but all the CA installers crash after i click "next" ...
That's weird ... internet is on, same problem with antivirus and windows defender off ....
Any clue ?
SOLVED All my CA installers crash on launch !
Re: All my CA installers crash on launch !
So, in other words, are CA installer using a different protocol than all the other installers ??
I guess it's the same good installers i had before my PC reset.
And now they don't work.
I would understand if most of my other installers would crash too, it would mean that my PC has a problem, but
now only the CA installers crash.
Weird, isn't it ?

Re: All my CA installers crash on launch !
Go onto CA's web site and check your installation. If something changes sufficiently about your machine (and even just changing the name is enough), the installers will think it's a different machine, and you can end up with too many machines it thinks you have. If that's what your online info reports, just delete the reported machines online and rerun the installers. Remember, you can only have four simultaneous installations, and repeatedly running the installers can use them up quickly if the installers think they're seeing a new machine each time.

Re: All my CA installers crash on launch !
Thanks for your help !
That's very wise and actually i didn't know about that.
Unfortunately, it didn't change.
It's obviously a problem with my (nonetheless freshly reset) PC, as my services app also crashes.
What puzzles me is that all my other plugins and apps installers are fine, as well as the DCO-106.
So, what i am wondering is :
what kind of protocol are the post DCO-106 installers using, so that only them crash on my PC ?
