no sound from my panorama p6

hi all very new to this but I've loaded P-10 as an AU on my Mac and I cannot extract a sound from the controller keyboard
all the other au are working such as Oberhiem OB1 and Cherry's own mercury 4 AND the on-screen keyboard responds to the mouse cursor dragging along it
is there a simple change I need to make to sort this?
I'm sure there's something I've not initiated

Hi all - huge apologies just been playing with the MIDI in channels after consulting the documentation and rather bizarrely the panorama responds with sounds at channel 14 - not sure why I'm sure there's a very good reason but I think I've got there

any further insights or other advice is welcome

I might try an alternative keyboard alongside the panorama to try and go double "rowed" as it were and see if I can get that to work as well .
