I thought this would be an excellent instrument to add in to Music Maker, but it's not listed as an instrument in the store or anything!
I'm assuming I just need to copy a VST or VST3 file or something from somewhere to somewhere to hack it in, but I'm a complete newb, can someone tell me how to do it, so I don't break it?
Thanks so much!

Re: Music Maker
Um... yes, that's the one I would like to add to Music Maker.
Re: Music Maker
Hi, I don't know, which version of Music Maker you're using. Please check, if that DAW is a 64bit software. If it is a 32bit version, it will not recognise any CA devices (or any other 64 bit VST).
Re: Music Maker
I am confused by what you meant by "but it's not listed as an instrument in the store or anything" because I posted the link to the location of the instrument in the store and you verified that's the one you want to add.
Maybe by "or anything" you just needed to log into your Cherry Audio account (Sign In), click "Add to Library" from the webpage, go to the Library section of your account, download it, run the installer, and insert it into Music Maker.
Maybe you don't know where your Cherry Audio Library is. If that's what you meant by "not listed or anything," once you are signed in there's a cart, a heart, and a smiley face button. The smiley face should give you a menu. One of the item is the Library.
If that's not what you meant by "not listed or anything," maybe you were asking how to add the SEM into Music Maker. If that's the issue, maybe there is someone around here who uses Music Maker and can advise you. Or maybe there is a Music Maker user forum.

Re: Music Maker
AH! That's my fault then, I meant that I don't see it listed in the Music Maker store, so I can select it as an instrument to install.
SEAL58 - It's a 64 bit version, Music Maker 2024 version 32.1. I do intend to upgrade to 2025 soon though, but not yet.
I see it installing VST and VST3 files for it's own instruments, but I have no clue how to do it manually.

Re: Music Maker
I asked Google, "Can Music Maker scan for third-party plugins?" The start of the AI answer says:
I hope this helps.
Assuming you are using Magix Music Maker, I hope this gets you started on researching how Music Maker works. I use a different DAW and I am sure Magix has its own procedures. There are probably some basic similarities (e.g., setting scan folders), but each DAW is very different in terms of where that is, how to set it up, etc.Yes, Magix Music Maker can scan for and utilize third-party VST plugins. To enable this, you'll need to activate the "Creative Suite" package through the Magix Store and then configure the VST scan path in the program settings.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
I hope this helps.
Re: Music Maker
Yes, thank you! I didn't find the creative thing, but I did figure out how to add the path to instruments myself, and then make it search for instruments.
