Dome Music Technologies website SSL certificate being renewed

Grrrr.

Every year, I go through the same palaver with my hosting company whenever it comes round to reissuing my SSL certificate. The process is so convoluted, I'm left scratching my head every time the old certificate expires.

Until it gets sorted out, I've placed a copy of all the Dome Tech user guides in my Google Drive:

I had similar problems in the past with a very popular hosting company that I won't mention the name of.

I then switched to a Lithuanian company called Hostinger where SSL is included as part of the package. They did the migration for me and apart from one or two minor problems with Wordpress plugin settings it was a breeze. I ended up saving quite a lot of money and the server performance is about four or five times faster than the previous company. The only downside is relatively limited analytics but I think there are ways around this if you really want detailed info.

Everything seems to be back in order, now. I've also created a step-by-step guide for myself whenever the certificate has to be reissued next year. I suspect I'll still encounter some gotcha, even then!

Anyhow, I'll keep the alternative doc repository in the Google Drive location linked above, just in case.
