@Paul Grooveside, glad you liked the patch and track.Sorry for the delay - I've been busy and just getting back to looking at the Cherry Chroma.
I put my Chroma patches (in Sysex format) here: https://www.synthify.com/ChromaticArchive/Chroma/
The sweeping filter patch from the audio clip is 42 in ...

Re: Minor issue on Sysex importer
Hi, I'm running Chroma 1.0.9 (B99). Sync says it is up to date. I'm still seeing an issue where I cannot import MARCH94.SYX, but I can import if I rename the file to MARCH94.syx.

Re: Suggestion for Chroma and every other CA multi-layer instrument
@nuSoniq, I support your suggestion. After using Omnisphere and NI plugins, I had just assumed that CA did the same thing. But now that I look closely, I see the capability is missing. I looked at the audio output settings which are the same in Chroma and GX-80:

How is Parameter 5 Output Select handled in Cherry Chroma?
Related to previous post from @nuSoniq, how is Parameter 5 Output Select handled in Cherry Chroma?
I made a "pseudo-stereo" modification to my voice cards. For the algorithms where AMP A and AMP B are summed (1, 2, 3, 13, 14, 15) I swapped output bus 1 and 2, so AMP A went to Out 1, and AMP B went ...

Mod control - continuous, smooth variation from min to max
I'm trying to bring back some of my favorite sounds from the physical Chroma. One of them hasn't sounded right on the physical Chroma's even after repairing and re-capping the voice cards. I wanted to try it out on Cherry Chroma. It doesn't have a name of course, I just know it as "42" from my ...

Re: Minor issue on Sysex importer
Thanks! I purchased, downloaded, and installed Chroma on Sunday 5/19, so perhaps the updated version hadn't propagated to your ecommerce download system.
i'll update, and send you other details by support ticket.

Minor issue on Sysex importer
Hi, I just installed the Cherry Chroma. I'm a long-time Chroma fan and still have a couple of them in various states of being refurbished . Great to see the nice work you've done on your VST version.

MIDI Sustain CC64 not working with GX-80?
I have discovered that the Sustain pedal does not affect any of the presets of the GX-80.
The "sust pedal" switch (left bottom of the UI) is on.
I have confirmed that MIDI CC64 sustain is being delivered from the controller to the computer.
I'm looking for the "typical" sustain operation, where ...

Re: Oh no ! Feature request already !
Thanks @utdgrant - that's exactly correct. GEG is not the same thing.
Just to clarify why filter EG and amp EG benefit from being independent, consider the "classic" VCF sweep sound. You might want the VCF EG to sweep the filter cutoff down to a low sustain level, while maintaining the full VCA ...
