Chord Memory module added to LSSP XL

Another free bonus module called Chord Memory should have landed in the Library of anyone with LSSP XL. chordmemory2.png This module provides yet another way to generate chords and scales in LSSP. It's particularly useful for keyboard players who want to enter chords as quickly as possible by clicki...

Re: Win 10 VM Standalone lots of pops and cracks

An i7-10750H has mid-range performance (26 GFlops) so ought to be powerful enough to run medium sized VM patches without any issues.

Re: MY HEAD IS EXPLODING!

Hi, My recommendation is to first download the free Voltage Modular Nucleus bundle and spend a few hours getting used to that. Then buy the Voltage Modular Core + Electro Drums bundle and spend a few days or weeks exploring that. Then buy MRB's Tiny Voice bundle as it delivers all your bread and but...

Yeah, sadly there's a 404 on the main link but I found this in the FAQ and I believe it's the same info...

Re: Newbie question on Oscillators

In an ideal world we would all use SI units or C1, C2 etc rather than things like feet or 1/16th roods. Middle A is now 440 Hz but the standard concert pitch has varied wildly over time. There was a long period of pitch inflation. Ludwig van Beethoven's A tuning fork produced 455.4 Hz so we now hear...

Re: Newbie question on Oscillators

Out of curiosity I just did a little research and it seems like a foot has varied in length over time, so not a great basis for tuning. My favourite definition of 16' has to be... Stand at the door of a church on a Sunday and bid 16 men to stop, tall ones and small ones, as they happen to pass out w...

Re: Newbie question on Oscillators

As far as I can tell the CA Oscillator is an octave too high. It's all down to a pitch standard based on the length of organ pipes. Personally I think it's a bit daft using such old fashioned terminology. The relationship is f = v / 2L. Where f is the frequency in Hz, v the speed of sound in m/s and...

Re: Inserting a 7th Chord

- should call it Note Worthy ! :D :D  I try to give LSSP modules names that are as obvious and boring as possible. It's fine when releasing a single module to call it something poetic or abstract but in a system that has approximately 50 modules that interact closely with each other it would b...

Re: Bus stop, bus goes, she stays, love grows

Yeah, but that is reasonable behaviour because buses are shared by the entire patch. Consider loading in several saved cabinets or even the same saved cabinet multiple times. If they used bus connections then you'd end up with all kinds of problems because by definition all sockets that used say Bus...

Re: Inserting a 7th Chord

Hi Peter, I've already designed such a module it's called Note Memory but I've not had time to implement it yet. I also have in the works a compact general purpose S-Poly Memory module that will store any kind of S-Poly signal including chords, scales and grooves. This second module would be really ...
