Re: Bug in VM900 901ABB module

TY for the quick reply. No rush on my part. I am just demoing it at this point. Fortunately, I found some of my old patch diagrams (circa 1972-76) and have just reconstructed the system my college had (as close as I can get it). Just want to see if they sound anything at all like I remember them bef...

Re: Bug in VM900 901ABB module

I am test driving the VM900 and with the test patch posted above, I got all sorts of audio issues. In part, its almost as if there is the digital equivalent of a floating ground that happens when the voltage of the 901 is too low.

Has the fix mentioned above been pushed yet?

Re: PDF User Manual now availalbe

I am test driving the VM900 now but don't see either the VM900 or VM2500 on the link cited above. Where can I find them?

I just found the correct manual link at KVR: https://cherryaudio.kayako.com/article/ ... ge-modular.

Re: Cherry Audio arpeggiator module and velocity

I was missing the velocity out from the CV sources. However, that helps a lot but only partially solves my issue. I'd wish that when I play a chord on the keyboard controller, the individual velocities of the chord would be kept in the arpeggiated output, so that if a chord is <A vel. 100, B vel 50...

Re: Cherry Audio arpeggiator module and velocity

I'm trying to build an arpeggiator and control its dynamic via MIDI velocity. As far as I understand this is not possible with the Cherry Audio arpeggiator module. Moreover, I couldn't find an existing module that does that. Does anybody have any suggestion? Hi. I just did a quick test of the basic...

Re: Can't select active midi input

Hi. I am just a VM user, not staff or anything. While you are waiting for an official response, check to see if any thing else is using the Akai, including control/editing/setup software. To test a hunch I just booted a soft synth set up to use my usb keyboard and then started VM (standalone). I got...

Re: Module Save Missing

I can see other possible benefits in terms of designing patches (being able to reuse preferred settings on a per module basis) and real time performance (switching settings on the fly using a mouse). Used this yesterday. Had a test patch from January that used JK's Scrubber set up to do sample mani...

Re: Module Save Missing

VM itself has a similar problem. . . hold Cmd/Ctrl when you click on the Save button. Confused? Yeah. I just tried this. Click SAVE, get the standard save dialog. CTRL + Click SAVE, get an immediate save. Easy, fast, simple. Only risk - accidentally overwriting the original version. Nice that it re...

Re: memories

I frequently make selections, for example, to see what a specific module maker has available. It is not that physically draining to click all or none. What bothers me far more is the lack of a radio button mode. If I click on module maker A, and then want to look at modules from B (and then C, D, E,...

Re: Module Save Missing

Have you tried VARIATIONS - save your 2 or more variations with the different waves and then select variations by CV (random, next or prev) :D Yes, I have used variations. I was just trying to explore the use of saving and recalling modular level settings to see where I might use them since I had n...
