Re: Performance buttons toggle/momentary

I would probably use them, especially if they had multiple color-coded states (e.g., red, orange, yellow, green, blue, red, orange . . . ) where the number of states for each button could be set by the user independently.

Re: Nasty artifacts ...in signal path

I have high frequency hearing loss but heard a low frequency rumble coming from the LFO set at an audible frequency that seems to be piped into the mixer. Is that one of the nasty artifacts?

EDIT: That one is ugly 2. The low frequency sound in ugly 1 seems to be coming from Initial Freq for Osc. 3.

Re: How do I make it so I can play multiple notes at the same time?

If you are not ready to purchase a bundle with polyphonic modules, you can create chords in various ways. For example, you can have three oscillators tuned to a root, third, and fifth. If you don't mind having arpeggiated chords, you can use one oscillator driven by the arpeggiator module. With thre...

The DCO-106 is able to read that exact SysEx data from a Juno-106 . . . .
DCO-106 doesn't transmit SysEx, and we don't have any mechanism for loading a SysEx data file . . . .
Thanks for the clarifications/additional details, Dan.

Re: Sysex?

If you use a Juno-106 as a MIDI controller for DCO-106, the top row of sliders, buttons, and switches all send SysEx messages when they're moved, so they can all be used to control DCO-106. Furthermore, switching patches on a Juno-106 will cause the positions of all the top-row sliders, switches, a...

Re: Issue on Octagon Divisions with External Clock

I am relatively new to VM and wanted to look at this as my first attempt at using Octagon. I tried it with an LFO as an external clock source, not the Sync Divider. I got similar results as you. The 4 repetitions at step 2 sync to the external clock and do not respect the DIV setting (i.e., they are...

Re: Was considering the ARP2600 in Vintage Voice bundle but ...

Yeah, but arturia's v collection is $500. $50 for all the synths in the year2 collection is a pretty darn good deal. Some thoughts from a new-to-VM long-time dabbler in electronic music. Can't comment on arturia or the original 2600, but after picking up the FM Station bundle very recently, I decid...

New to VM Questions

Are there any modules (Cherry Audio or Third Party) that will display MIDI data (external, esp.) as hex? Thanks.

Re: vector waveshaping synthesis

I am new to Voltage Modular; just starting to explore individual modules. However, I was intrigued by the direction of your thinking and what I think you are looking for. Let me be clear: being new to VM, I am not sure I understand what you are looking for (but I will try to see if I am close) and I...
