It's based on the classic Bode Frequency Shifter design, and provides simultaneous up- and down-shifted outputs. In addition, there are breakout jacks for the +/- 45 degree outputs of the Dome Filter section. There is a comprehensive user guide on our homepage.
The module requires an external phase-quadrature oscillator, and the "Test Rack Oscillator" from Dome Music Tech is the ideal companion, even sharing the same panel aesthetics. However, you can also construct a phase-quadrature oscillator free-of-charge by using the Sine output of a stock CA Oscillator, and the Dome Filter section from another instance of this module. There is a preset pack which demonstrates both approaches to making a "shift oscillator".
