This is just a fun experiment / proof-of-concept. I wanted to build a very simple monosynth using the Smol Rat module for the main active building blocks.

1. VCO - This uses an ACE Compare module to send a +5V pulse to the left hand Smol Rat. The Smol Rat then decays towards 0V until it falls below the Vy threshold set on the ACE Compare module, and the cycle restarts. Pitch tracking isn't great due to the inter-module delays, but it works OK for low notes.

2. ASR Envelope Generator - The GATE signal from the CV SOURCES panel is smoothed out by the central Smol Rat. Rise Time sets Attack, Fall Time sets Release.

3. 6dB/Oct Low Pass VCF. The right-hand Smol Rat has its audio-rate Rise and Fall times controlled by Filter Cut Off voltage and the output from the ASR Envelope.

A Simple Amplifier completes the patch.
