Would be good to know if this is likely to be permanently shelved? wish I could roll back to the previous macos to use it tbh
I have a hunch they'll have it fixed by summer 2024 if not sooner.

Either way, I just gave up and started running Logic in Rosetta mode. A small number of plugins don't work with Rosetta well, but that's a price I'm willing to pay since countless other developers (not just Cherry Audio) have myriad issues with properly porting their Intel plugins to modern Macs. Logic itself even has a bunch of native-specific bugs that disappear in Rosetta.

Fair enough, rossetta didn’t work as well for me overall (and I found voltage was less cpu efficient than on my old i7 which was weird) so time to find alternative means. I will miss the psp modules though. I’ll check back in a few months and see if anything changes.

I've not had any success with VM in Sonoma with Logic 10.8.1

Has anybody got VM working in Logic on Sonoma?

It still only works in Rosetta.

Thanks for the update Robert! Looking forward to using Voltage Modular again. I open Standalone occasionally but it’s harder to use during a quick project that way.
I still can't open VM in OS 13.6.3 using Logic 10.8.1. Have you completed a fix?

Thank you.

So when you say in sight, you mean in sight via the hubble telescope?

Based on this,

https://cherryaudio.kayako.com/article/ ... ntura-13-3

it's beginning to look like this might be an ongoing issue that is only going to get worse for Mac users, particularly if Apple enforces restriction, of whatever it doesn't like in VM, onto other DAW companies. Apple seems to care even less about other companies than it does of its customers.

The wording of the article above, and the considerable delay, suggests that a fix in VM is going to involve a lot of architectural reworking - possible too much to be worthwhile.
