Cubase Volume Control

Post by dpabbott »

Just acquired the DCO-106. Sending volume midi messages (CC7) seem to be ignored by the plugin in Cubase. Have I missed something?

Have you tried setting it up using the MIDI Mapping Utility in DCO-106?

https://docs.cherryaudio.com/cherry-aud ... e-midi-tab

Do this and use MIDI Learn to map the Master Volume control on the right to any control on your controller. Then go to the MIDI Tab on the left and edit the Value CC for "Master - Volume" to 7.

That seemed to do the trick, though I had to do it twice; once in the stand-alone and once in the instance in Cubase. Bit perplexed as to why this functionality/mapping isn't built in from the start?
