Sequencer Model 1601 on CA2600

Hello,
I just have a question. Arturia, for its ARP 2600, have added the Sequencer Model 1601.
Why doesn't the CA2600 from Cherry Audio have one? I didn't pay attention to this before I bought it but it would be nice to add it.
Arturia's ARP 2600 is too expensive.
Thanks ;)

Arturia added the sequencer to the synthesiser; whereas, CA issued the synthesiser :)

The 1601 had some interesting features and quirks, so I would support a VM sequencer module. However, I wouldn't want to bloat out the 2600 - which is how I feel about the Arturia, btw (and I do own it, and much prefer the CA version).

I haven't looked closely enough at the 1601 to know whether or not a 1601 could be built from existing VM components (including the VM2500 1027 sequencer)

I stumbled across this whilst doing some reading and I thought it was worth sharing :)

Out of curiosity, I did a comparison of the Arturia 1601 with the original hardware version. Except for a few minor differences, they're the same (though I wonder if the original had some analog flaws' that Cherry chose to forego, like scratchy pots and switches, maybe some crosstalk in the gate switches and CV sliders).
