The LFOs on my favorite line of hardware modules have note duration values (8/1, 4/1d, 8/1t, 4/1 . . . 1/32) followed by Hz values (0.08 Hz . . . 18.14 Hz). I never thought about it. If I was doing something and I wanted the LFO to be a ratio related to the BPM, I'd choose from the note duration value choices. If I wanted a fixed LFO rate that wasn't synced to the BPM, I'd choose an Hz value.) In VM we have sync to clock and dividers, the super LFO, etc. The Tempo Calculator seems like a handy tool to add to the list.
