First modules in shop - the Mini Chord Bundle

Post by Aarnville »

Hi folks,

I'm hoping it's OK to plug my first VM modules on here!

My first three modules are now in the shop and on sale for a few more days. Not only will they give you a simple way to get some (simple) chords but they will also bring a little more purple into your life.

I'm currently working on some presets, including some that will be compatible with Nucleus, the (currently free) entry level of Voltage Modular.

I've got more modules planned. Next to hit the shop will be a free module for examining poly signals. It was initially built as a tool to aid module development but I've polished it up, and purpled it up, and it will give some visibility into the signals present on poly connections.

Welcome to the VM Dev community!

That looks like an intriguing bundle. There's a real need for more good MIDI / Poly processing modules in the VM universe, I feel. Mono CV and audio processing is well catered-for, but I really think we could rival Reason's 'Player' ecosystem with a bit of thought.

And, it goes without saying that more purple modules is a Very Good Thing! :D

Agreed!!!!!!!!!

Also, if there were reliable midi in/out modules, VM might make an excellent midi processor plug-in to supplement any DAW that can send and receive midi data to and from plug-ins.

I've just put up a short demo video.

I can't believe how long it took me to make it! Maybe I'll get quicker with practice.
The patches in the demo are included in a free preset pack which will hit the CA shop just as soon as the lovely folks at Cherry Audio approve it, probably the next day or two.

In re chord/song systems, look at Adroit Audio's stuff if you haven't. Colin's got a whole self-contained system for that sort of thing. Pretty impressive, especially the way he creates his own custom poly data jacks. It's all pretty affordable, too; if you like what you see, why not just get the big bundle? If nothing else, it'll give you a lot of ideas.

Finally managed to get the presets in the store (and added them to the bundle).
