Every one of those intro toms, the intro 808 sounding snare and samplehold beep sound and really all other synths are voltage modular, except one instance of u-he tyrell and a disco dsp ob-xd. Of course, I chopped the shit out of Winston's Amen break as well
QUESTION:
IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHAIN TOGETHER TWO DRUM TRIGGER SEQUENCERS LIKE THE EIGHT STEP??! TO ACHEIVE 32 STEPS....OR RATHER ALTERNATING BETWEEN THE TWO USINg AN EIGHT TO ONE SWITCH...

Do you have the Misfit Audio Electro-Drums Bundle (which comes with VM Core)?
The PATT CV input allows you to select between 32 different patterns up to 16 steps each. Pattern 1 = 0V, pattern 32 = 5V.
Alternatively, you can run it in Song Mode, where you can chain the patterns into a song structure, and it will automatically switch pattern from bar-to-bar.

As utdgrant says you can do pattern chaining or CV selection of patterns in the Misfit Audio Drum Trigger Sequencer as described in its documentation...
https://docs.cherryaudio.com/misfit-aud ... -sequencer
It's also possible to do sequencer chaining in general with CA modules but it can be rather tricky. This discussion might be helpful...

If you are interested in very large scale sequencing then maybe check out
LSSP as it is specifically designed to cope with the problems involved. The following page of my website looks at fairly sophisticated chaining and control of drum sequencers...

thanks. all that is extremely helpful. I have been running VM standalone lately and wondered what it could do
