Plugin host feature requests

Hi there,
I am really enjoying the possibilities opened by the plugin host. In particular when using another modular (Softtube, VCV) as the plugin.
But in that context, there are two questions, I would like to pose:
1) Is there some reason to restrict the plugin host to 4 ins and 4 outs? It would be great of one could use 8 ins and 8 outs (or more) as then one could feed more CVs directly, without having to convert them to MIDI and back.
2) It seems that VM uses a different definition of '1V' than softtube or VCV. If I send 1V from VM to the VCV or Softtube as plugin, on the plugin side I receive 2V, and I need to send 2V back to get 1V in VM. It would be fantastic, if there was a switch with which one could change that scaling. I guess one would need a switch to preserve backwards compatibility with existing patches, which use the plugin host.
Cheers,
Martin
