Change Multi-scope's default redraw behavior?

Is there a way users can change the default behavior for multi-oscilloscope's redraw trigger? I'd like when I add the multi-scope module to have the redraw trigger turned off by default, so the display stays dynamic regardless of values of the signals coming in.
I found the file "manufacturer-properties.xml" in my settings folder, I was hoping maybe there was something that could be added in there to change this default behavior, but I wouldn't even know where to start... can anyone help? Thanks!
