Maybe it's just me but it drives me nuts that the tempo isn't saved with a patch in standalone mode.
So many times I load something up and it plays at some crazy tempo and I can't remember what tempo I had previously honed in on for that patch.

You can write a note with this and placing it wherever in your patch, it's free :

Cheers Nrgzr. I realise I can write stuff down using any of several free notes modules but it's still a pain having to manually reset the tempo. Computers are supposed to make things easier.

Agreed. VM is similar to a regular DAW because it uses sequencing elements. Therefore, the tempo should be saved with the patch. Until they do that, make a note as somebody said, or use a Clock Generator. Andrew Macaulay has a nice one.

I recently joined these Forums, and I've spent a little time checking out oast questions. It's more for my sake that I answer them, as I enjoy the challenge of figuring things out.

Hi
I use the Adroit tempo connected to the sync in of the CA Sync Divider. That way if I use preset in DAW I can just rewire the Sync Divider to the VM DAW sync control and I still know the original bpm
