Performance buttons toggle/momentary

I would be nice if the performance buttons in the upper right side could have a toggle/momentary option.

I would probably use them, especially if they had multiple color-coded states (e.g., red, orange, yellow, green, blue, red, orange . . . ) where the number of states for each button could be set by the user independently.
