I've had the same problem with the Plug-In Host and Mini Plug-In Host. I have a few observations:
  • The problem is more persistent with a resource-hungry plug-in (Massive X) than with less demanding plugins (Razor and the old Massive) but can happen even with those.
  • The problem is not reliably fixed for me even with gigantic ASIO buffer sizes.
  • I was able to replicate the problem with Max's equivalent (~vst) to Plug-In Host. So the problem is not unique to VM. However, all the plug-ins I've mentioned work fine in a conventional DAW, Cubase in my case. So hopefully this is a soluble problem.
Cherry Audio have not yet responded to this thread or the other one syncostan mentions, viewtopic.php?f=8&t=661, which, I agree, is the same problem. So, syncostan, would you like to contact Cherry Audio direct to report a bug, citing the two threads? If you do, please do keep us is posted in the forum with any developments.

Cheers,
Simon

I should add that, like xones2358, I've been using Plugin-Host to modulate the parameters of the VSTi synths. I've not tested to check if the problem goes away if I don't modulate the VSTi parameters. But Plugin-Host is of no use to me if I cannot do that.
