Does anyone have any optimization hints for making VM work at all on ProTools 12? It shouldn't take something arcane to make it work - it's an actual AAX plugin. VM works as a standalone without ProTools, but in Protools (as either an AAX plugin or as a VST running in BlueCat) it simply starts spiking within seconds.
Does anyone have it actually running on a good PC? Did you have a secret tweak in how protools is addressing the software?
Thanks so much - K

I have the same problem and have already installed v2.5.5. Standalone works fantastic and doesn't even make a blip on the CPU with the most elaborate presets. VM works well in Reaper. Just loading VM in Pro Tools 12/Win10 causes spikes. It's completely unusable. None of the other Cherry Audio plugins cause this and my system is pretty hopped up, capable of running well over a hundred tracks with many plugins at once without any issues whatsoever.
