New User-Save Sounds to file format?

Surrealistic MG-1 Plus is a loving recreation of the Realistic MG-1, an oddball synthesizer sold by the 1980's consumer electronics giant Radio Shack.

New User-Save Sounds to file format?

Post by sbucci »

Audio Newb, so help appreciated. Trying to figure out if there is a way to record sounds, use with Adobe Audition, etc. Tried the VST piece, but nothing happened in Audition.

Any suggestions/guidance for saving sounds I create to an audio file are appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

There's no option. Can you log into the standalone version? Make sure you can play the standalone version, and then it should show up as a virtual instrument in Audition. You'd use it like you would any other virtual instrument. You could add MD-1 to a virtual instrument track, add MIDI notes to that track, and then render it as audio.

If it's not showing up as a plugin in Audition, and you can log into and use the standalone version, make sure that Audition is searching the plugin location where you installed the MG-1 plugin file.
