"Trigger driven", you mean sequencers like euclidean style sequencers ?

I said about step sequencers which advance their steps with a trigger. Sorry, it was not good choice of words...
Of course, it depends on implementation (internal time resolution of a step?). In some cases, sequencers don't know the time between the triggers they receive, I think.

Anyway, "nudge/micro-timing per step" would be a nice feature!
