Thank You Cherry Audio for this free bundle.

I got sent the link from a friend - I've always been curious about modular synths but never really got anywhere. This free bundle is keeping me occupied making weird sounds ;-). After a few days checking out the presets and watching the tutorial videos I have built a pretty good acoustic bowed violin/cello/double bass sound.

I am a real novice at this - I have to learn about the concepts behind some of the ideas before I can get my head around this. Good job I've got time on my hands

I am checking out the store to see what I need to add to my setup. After that probably looking for a midi keyboard.

Would that be a no?

Hi,

It's still free. Open up Voltage Modular, click on the little gear icon, select the Account settings, then click Update Login Info, and try logging in with the username "greatwolf."

If that doesn't help, please contact support here: https://cherryaudio.kayako.com/conversation/new

Hi there.
First of all I wanted to say thank you for this incredible generosity. Really looking forward to dipping my toes back into music making (it's been a while).
I seem to be having a similar (though not exactly the same) issue as a couple of other people. I've done all the registration and have been trying to download the included modules, which doesn't seem to happen. I get a little note at the bottom of the frame saying "downloading images", but it doesn't appear as if anything is downloading.
I'm running this on a macbook air on OS X 10.11.6

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Just following up on this. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and encounter the same problem. The program installs properly, but the modules will not download - I get some sort of status bar indicating a percentage for each module (core modules), and then the "downloading images...." text appears.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Hi,

I'm just a regular user, but you may wish to contact Cherry support through the link a couple of messages above this one. I say that because your support request is off-topic from the original purpose of this thread, which is announcing free product. Any support that you get will be accidental, since people are reading this for stuff related to the title.

That being said, thanks for providing some technical info, b/c it's really frustrating when looking for help don't include any details and expect helpers to do much more work then they're willing to do. So, with that in mind,
- are you still logged in in the VM software settings menu?
- can you log in to the website with that user/pw?
- try turning off your computer's firewall and trying again
- do you have room on your computer's storage?
- are you far from the wifi router?
- try ethernet rather than wifi
- is your computer next to the microwave oven?
- is your roommate taking up bandwidth?
- is your CPU/RAM maxed out at 100% while you're doing this?
- does your computer throw weird errors while doing other things?
- are you using some kind of weird vpn or doing this from work behind some strict filter?

so no need to reply to me on this thread, recommend you contact support
best wishes!
