How to Get Mercury-6 to Respond to AU Patch Changes in Logic?
How to Get Mercury-6 to Respond to AU Patch Changes in Logic?
Can anyone tell me how to get Mercury-6, or really any of the Cherry Audio synths, to respond to the logic AU patch changes? This is the list of patches in Logic outside of the plug-in. There are basically all of the factory presets listed, but choosing any of them does nothing. It is probably a simple setting that I am missing somewhere, but my Nektar keyboard has buttons for next/previous patches and that changes the AU patch for a plugin and I would like to be able to simply navigate between patches without having to click on the plug-in interface.

Hi @Mibrilane. I don't use Logic/Macs, but I have seen something similar in a PC DAW I use. There, the Mercury-6 VST2 does respond to program change commands passed through the DAW from my USB keyboard's next and previous buttons; VST3s do not. Maybe Logic has the same issue.
If that doesn't help, I encourage you to see if CA Support has any insights. https://cherryaudio.kayako.com/
For what it's worth (from what I have seen) CA products do not implement Bank Switching commands. But if the VST2 version works in your software, 0 to 127 /1 to 128 in the currently selected bank might be enough.
