Hello everyone!
I have a small problem: I can't find a help file for the Cherry Audio spectrum analyzer module. Does it exist ? There is not even any data in the about window !
I would like to get everything possible out of it, and for that I am convinced that a few example patches, for example, would be a valuable help : some use the modules differently than usual, and our exchanges are always enriching
Thanks in advance !

Re: Spectrum analyser (s ?)
There isn't any documentation for the Spectrum Analyzer, nor one or two other CA modules like the Poly Vintage Oscillator if I recall correctly.
I used a couple of Spectrum Analyzers to build a simple vocoder in one of my demo patches.

Yeah, it's a weird one. There isn't even a description in the store. I didn't find it much use as a visualiser - I always use Voxengo SPAN inside the Plug-In Host / Mini Plug-In Host.
I think that it might be more useful as the analysis side of a vocoder, giving you 'envelope follower outputs' for each passband. I can envisage how you could create a full vocoder by using two CA Spectrum Analyser modules and ten VCAs. One CA SA would extract the audio outputs for the carrier signal (say, a poly sawtooth wave). The other would provide the envelope followers for the modulation signal (say, a human voice). I'll experiment with this idea later...
Edit: JINX! I see Colin and I were thinking along the same lines and cross-posted.

This is what I came up with tonight. It's very similar to the vocoder that Bob Moog came up with for Wendy Carlos to use in the Clockwork Orange soundtrack.
