Chord Memory looping

Post by ColinP »

The Chord Memory module has been updated and now supports continuous looped recording.

Previously you could chain Chord Memory modules together via their AUTO OUT and AUTO IN sockets and record a string of chords by playng them on a MIDI keyboard but it didn't work if you looped the final AUTO OUT back to the first module's AUTO IN.

The behavour has been modified so that now you can patch N Chord Memory modules into a ring and every time you play a chord it replaces the old one and steps to the next module in the ring. This makes it easy to explore lots of alternative chord voicings in a progression and is also handy in a live performance situation where you can refresh say a three chord vamp every now and then just by playing new chords on the keyboard.
