Note repeat effect

Post by JackJackdaw » Tue Mar 31, 2020 3:47 pm

I would like a module that is like a delay but that acts on the cv rather than the audio. I have a kick drum triggered by a sequencer I would like something that could take that trig and add repeats to it. So I could dial up a knob that takes a minimal kick sequence and makes it more complex. Any ideas?

You may be talking about 'ratcheting', which can be achieved with various modules in "Andrew Macaulay's Sequencing and Ratcheting Collection" bundle or with Cherry Audio's Octagon sequencer with Gate Mode set to 'Division'.

Hi,
delay module works on both cv and audio (learned that from one of Cherry Dan's presentations on kvr - thanks Dan!)
Cheers!

I have been experimenting with Andrew Macaulay modules, loads of great stuff from them!

Great tip about the delay accepting cv! Thanks folks.

another fun thing to do IMO is to run a variation of a drum trigger signal (F.E. the accent out) through the Burst Generator https://docs.cherryaudio.com/cherry-aud ... icro-burst and have some modulation going on on the rate or repeats # of said Burst Gen.
