Feature Request: Scannable Plugin Folders

Hello,

The ability to load plugins from the collection I've been developing for ten years now was a major reason for me buying into VM. I'm generally very pleased with this functionality, however there's one major issue that I hope can be addressed.

I use a Mac when performing live and a more powerful Windows 10 machine in the studio. When moving patches between these platforms any patch that contains a plugin won't load the plugin. It appears that the VST2 plugins are recalled with an absolute path on the disk, which simply won't work when switching from a Windows machine to a Mac and vice versa, due to the differences in how these OSs handle VST2 installations.

Seems like it shouldn't be too difficult to be able to maintain an internal list of plugins that could be used to support cross platform loading, or any loading where the absolute path of the plugin file doesn't match. Ableton Live can do this, for example.
