Pattern Ratcheter + Velocity Envelope + Remote Control

Quick test of latest acquisitions for Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular: velocity envelope and pattern ratcheter.

I am switching between two sequencers, one 8 steps of eighth notes and one 7steps of sixteenth notes. The switch goes on a 5 steps cycle with 1 step of silence.

Envelope attack and release modulated thanks to the Remote Control module, a must have for Voltage Modular.

Voltage Modular sounds so good !

love that sort of thing. Good man. I cannot get my head around that ratchetter, I don't know why it bursts in isolation with pauses every time I use it. The mini rachetter by Andrew MaCauley seems to make more sense. I don't understand how a lot of these things work. I end up using the things I can work out. Any further description of your patch would be good if you want to describe it further at some later date. Maybe I need to look over it very closely. Thanks for posting it

What made it clear for me is whem i realized that :

-the "gate in" of the envelope triggering your sound not only gets the gate signal from your notes sequencer but also the gate signal from the pattern ratcheter's out.

-the pattern ratcheter needs a separate sequencer with its own sync divider (2X, 4X, 8X slower for example) that wil trigger the ratchet when you want it (probably with a sequence that has only one step).

Check the little preset i made.
