Controlling skewed knobs with external MIDI CC

As the title said, controlling skewed knobs with external MIDI CC has strange behavior.

CC values on smaller side make large change and bigger side have fine change on knobs. It seemed not as intended.

For example below,

MIDI CC value 0 makes hard left and CC value 127 sets the knob hard right. Those are okay.
Then I send CC value 1, the knob indicates about 10 o'clock.
(The knob has skewed value of 0.25)

I think MIDI CCs should be linear to knobs even the knob is skewed.
