Has anyone used the Benard Matrix Sequencer ?

Post by xuoham »

Hi guys,

Does anyone know whether the Benard Matrix sequencer have an independent steps number for each of the three layers ?

Also it seems that there is no way to shift the starting point of the sequence (one of my favorite ways to add variations) like this Max4Live device in use within Ableton Live called MDD___Snake.

The most incredible is that it is free !

But i would buy right away if it would be ported to VM. The Benard Matrix sequencer looks a bit like it and i would have bought it in a blink but it does not say whether the steps number is independent for each layer and it obviously does not have any shift parameter.

What i like most with a shift functions is that you can shift (obviously) the starting point of any sequence while still having the sequencer know where is the first step when you go back to normal, so one can make interesting variations without loosing any sync with the meter. (could be better formulated)

Also, the quantize parameter on the right side of this Max4Live device is fantastic !
