Hi all,
I'm digging Voltage Modular so far, I got my Ignite license the other day, and I've been using it a lot inside Ableton, however, whenever I try to do midi learning to my controllers, it just doesn't work.
I've tried both with Ableton Live Suite 9 and Ableton Live Lite 10, and nothing seems to work.
I'm using a Macbook pro with core i7, OS Mojave 10.14.2
Any ideas/suggestions on this?
Thanks in advance for your help.
MIDI Mapping issues in Ableton
Re: MIDI Mapping issues in Ableton
Problem solved.
This is what I did:
I removed my controllers from my settings in Ableton and cleaned up all of the values in the MIDI panel of VM. Then I opened up again and now it's mapping correctly.
However, MIDI learning still seems to now work if I do it from the midi learning button in Ableton but only from the midi learning menu in VM.

Re: MIDI Mapping issues in Ableton
Hello,
You need to map any controls in Voltage Modular to one of the 128 automation slots first, in order to use Ableton's MIDI mapping features. Simply right-click on any control (knob, slider, etc.), select Automation Assign, and choose an automation value. Once you've done that, the Ableton MIDI mapping feature will work.
Thanks!
Dan
