Hi Mariusz, I was able to reproduce the issue with the test project file you uploaded here. We're checking into it, thanks!

Also, what was the Cubase/Voltage versions/builds that the problem did NOT happen with?

This confirms what we've seen. Interestingly enough, this does not happen in other DAWS and we have reached out to the Cubase team for more insight.

Hi guys, do you know where the problem lies? We are now waiting for the Cubase or Voltage Modular update?

Hi there,

We've studied this situation. The bad news is that, it's not really a "problem" exactly. It's just how Cubase works. Cubase has a little built-in pre-roll, so it starts playback a little bit before the time you tell it to start. The good news is that we've added a new preference - which is enabled by default - which will delay the Play trigger in Voltage Modular until the start of a measure. This not only effectively solves the Cubase sync issue, but it also ensures that, in any DAW, if you start playback in the middle of a measure, Voltage Modular won't fire up its sequencers out-of-sync with the music. It definitely makes the sync capabilities more useful.

This update will be released within the next week or so.

Thanks,
Dan
