Honestly, I don't really use cabinets very much. They're only accessible from the library, which takes up a *huge* amount of screen real estate on my tiny laptop screen, and I generally add my modules from the context menu anyways. I've recategorized most of the modules, so things are always just where I expect them... no need for the library window and it's search function.
I made this request about this a while back... if cabinets were more accessible, I'd probably use them a whole lot more:

That said, you definitely have some neat suggestions for cabinets that I hadn't considered yet... thanks for sharing!
