I seem to be getting vastly better performance out of VM than some users so thought it might be handy to say what my settings are, what computer I'm using and what kind of performance I get.

I use a Huawei Matebook laptop with a AMD Ryzen 7 4800H and 16 GB RAM windows 10. It's a nice new machine granted, but not top of the range.

I can run LSSP Tutorial 5 on battery power with the battery management set at 2/3 battery to performance ratio and my average CPU load according to Task Manager is about 21% (about 18% of this is Voltage Modular). This is using the built-in audio drivers, the load drops 1 or 2 percent if I use my Scarlett 2i2 instead.

The Tutorial 5 patch has 18 modules in the top patch and three of these are Mini Plug-In Hosts each running an embedded copy of Voltage Modular.
The first of these embedded VMs runs a patch with 31 modules in it, the second 35 modules and the third 39 modules.

So in total I'm using 123 modules and 4 copies of Voltage Modular at once.

It runs just fine and this is with the CPU throttled to extend my battery life.

The settings I use in VM are:

Use multiple threads for mixing enabled and using 4 threads
OpenGL disabled
Sample rate 48000 Hz
Buffer size 480 sampled (latency of 10 mS)
