Voltage Modular 2.2.3 Released! - Questions/Requests -

Post by Nrgzr78 »

Hello there, I have a sort of question/request for CA staff, regarding this last update and to be more specific referring to this "Fixed cross-compatibility issue with Arial Black and Trebuchet fonts" : basically those fonts have been replaced with two new fonts and it affected all the modules' fonts (and so the related graphic) where they have been applied to...so :

---> Why don't just ADD new fonts instead of modifying the existing ones ???

---> Can you replace the previous ones as they were before and add the new ones to the list ???

Thx

Have a look at the fonts how it was previously and with the new fonts updates...it changes in some way how it looks...

Hi,

Oh, I see what you're saying.

We didn't add any new fonts. We fixed it so that the correct font would appear on both Mac and Windows. Previously, if a label was set to Arial Black or Trebuchet, but the font couldn't be found, it would revert to the default san serif font.

If you want to make it go back to the way it was before, set the font to "<Sans-Serif>" instead of specifying the font name.
