Unexpected mixer behavior

Post by NothanUmber »

Hi,
doing some first experiments with Voltage Modular. Particularly looking forward to live playing with MPE controllers (thus poly support was the main incentive to get this compared to... other options...)
Looks nice on first sight!
Have experimented with increasing the number of steps of the sequencer by a "sequence of sequencers" approach.
Works so far, but apparently the number of modules being connected to a mixer changes the percentage one input is contributing to the output no matter whether the contributing modules are on or off.
Thus the more sequencers I add to the mixer the higher the notes get - even if only one sequencer is active at a time. With the explicit mixer module I can counter this by turning down the input of each input to 1/num_sequencers but when just connecting the sequencers to the oscillators there is no easy way to counter that effect.

Haven't played with hardware modulars yet, are mixers really recalibrating depending on cables plugged in, no matter whether these cables are actually delivering current?

two of the three connected modules are disabled. Still the voltage changes comparing to having only one module connected
