Hi there,
I am using FL Studio and I wanted to link a mixer-channel (via sidechain) to the channel I have the voltage modular VST linked to so I can process the audio within the VM cabinet.
It seems when using VM as a VST it doesn't receive the external audio signal. When I use VM as a effect in the channel, it does receive the audio signal.
Am I routing it up wrongly?
Processing external audio thru VM
Re: Processing external audio thru VM
I'm not an FL user, and don't totally understand what you're trying to do. could you post some pics, showing
- if you've loaded voltage_modular.dll or voltage_modular_fx.dll
- pic of voltage modular with all cables with complete audio path, including i/o panel
- FL studio tracks, showing sources and destinations and track with VM
- VM settings/audio, with input and output selections

Re: Processing external audio thru VM
In Digital Performer, it can be done with "Side chain" input on individual VSTi setting.
Side chain signal appears on 2L and 2R jack on the Audio source panel of VM.
I don't know it can be a help since I'm not FL studio user...
