VM Crashing
VM Crashing
VM crashes every time I add more than 3 to 5 modules. Using Studio One, No other plugins crash my Laptop. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi,
Are you using version 2.0.17? If not try updating.
If the problem is happening in version 2.0.17, does it matter which modules?
Windows or Mac?

Hi,
Windows or Mac?
Does it only happen with those particular modules?

I'm on Windows. It happens with other modules, but I notice some create lag on start up. Does VM just eat up alot of CPU in general?

Hi,
It takes a good amount of processing power to crunch the numbers and process the audio, yes. Standalone or plugin? Does one work better than the other?
Go into settings within Voltage Modular and look at the CPU settings. Try it with the multi-thread option on and off to see which works better.
You can also try toggling the OpenGL option.
