Maybe a silly question but….

Absolutely loving this instrument , but I do have a question….
If I bring up on of the presets - “Swirling Strings” from the String Bank, I increase the attack and the Release of the VCA to give me a nice slow string pad. Maybe it’s my limited understanding of the Jupiter 4 , but it seems sometimes the attack of the notes are nice and long and then if I trigger another note, it’s attack is instant.
I’m I missing something or is this the nature of the Jupiter 4?
