Feature Request: Trigger Input

Mercury-4 is a detailed emulation of one of the best-sounding and quirkiest polyphonic synthesizers of the late 1970's, the Roland Jupiter-4.

Feature Request: Trigger Input

Post by Mr Arkadin »

The one thing I like on my real Jupiter-4 is the trigger input for the arp. Now you might think this is just sync, but this is analogue remember.

So what you can do with a trigger is hook up a CR-78 trigger output - that's the same as MIDI sync. However you can also send it, say, the snare drum only, which means the arp only triggers when it receives a snare.

This could be implemented in a sidechain-style with a drop-down men selecting which DAW track you want to be the trigger.

What do you reckon guys?
