Polyphonic Aftertouch

Memorymode is based upon one of the very best-sounding polyphonic programmable analog synthesizers of the 80s, the legendary Memorymoog synthesizer.

Polyphonic Aftertouch

Post by marzzz »

The original MemoryMoog was quite famous for choking on polyphonic aftertouch messages, and is frequently cited as a reason (no longer valid, btw) to exclude polyAT response over MIDI from various hardware and software synths. I see that Cherry Audio is implementing MPE in the Memorymode VST, but would you please add polyphonic aftertouch response to MIDI to its features?

I'd like to add a heartfelt plea for the inclusion of poly AT.
It is what made the CS-80 what it is - and its inclusion on instruments by Spectrasonics, U-He, Arturia and others enables beautiful expression in their instruments, for those who wish to run existing Poly AT equipped 88 note keyboards without jumping onto a Seaboard Grand.
The Memorymode will be utterly stunning with this inclusion.

Cheers!
