Velocity control using the sequencer

Velocity control using the sequencer

Post by c0z »

Hi! I'm digging more into the PS-20 and came across this problem: I'd like a sequence that is triggering one of the envelopes have control about the velocity via the 2nd sequencer. Is that somehow possible? There is an output jack for the keyboard velocity, but no input jack at the envelope generators.

Any ideas? :)
Best regards,

Yeah of course. I found the answer right after posting. Sorry.

Just use the VCA MOD input with the sequence and turn the VCA Modulation knob... :D

Looks like you're all set, but yeah, VCA MOD is intended for controlling the amplitude of whatever notes are on (for velocity, tremolo, etc.), whereas the VCA AMT will open all voices at once.
