Sometimes the standalone program launches very sluggish and unresponsive. Sometimes it seems it is connecting to a web server for updates as indicated by the yellow update text in the corner. Other times there is no apparent reason.

Symptoms of this UI sluggishness are:
-Presets menu will not open
-Presets next/previous arrows do not change active preset
-Right click menu gets locked 'on/open' (will not close no matter where clicked)
-Right click menu options highlight locked 'on/open'
-Right click menu options do not execute

Quiting the standalone and relaunching usually helps.

This behaviour is not seen in the VST version
