Bug / request - Presets folder

Post by SonikElectrik »

Hi Merry Cherry Band

I have a minor bug I would love to see addressed regarding the custom assignment of the presets folder in each instrument. I am able to assign a custom folder for my instrument presets, however when i launch any of the synths (standalone or vst) none of the presets are found (the library is blank) and upon app reboot the folder reverts back to the default - User/ApplicationSupport/CherryAudio/*SynthName*/FactoryPresets

The documentation says this:

Preset Folder- Displays the current location of CA2600's sound presets. This can be changed by clicking and typing in the field.

Browse... - Displays the current location of preset folder in the file manager.

Set Default- Sets the current displayed Preset Folder path as the default location

Can you verify I should be able to move the factory and user presets to a different location of my choice? I would love if this worked as I keep all my presets for every app/synth/fx that allows it on a separate hard drive. Im OCD I like things all in one place where I can find them. Maybe I 'm missing the point and this function is intended for some other use.

Cheers
adam

Hi,

Do you have CA2600 v1.0.30 installed?
