trying to do simple amplitude modulation wit vca 2
I am trying to do simple amplitude modulation using the vca 2 in the voltage processing section . The osc is modulated by an lfo , the lfo is routed to vca control , yet the osc always comes tr ue at full amplitude . It seems that the lfo is bipolar and for amplitude modulation , the control signal ...

Re: Nasty artifacts ...in signal path
There is clearly aliasing in the last audio part ( 44 k )
Not sure if this has anything to do with the ugly harmonics I have mentioned

Re: Nasty artifacts ...in signal path
No , that low frequency rumble is the LFO (it's supposed to be low :) , look at the provided screenshots for the artifacts (5 Kilohertz range ) , if you have high frequency hearing loss ...good for you ;) It's not just the osc's and lfo's but literally anything you route directly to the vca output ,...

Re: Nasty artifacts ...in signal path
Hi again, Can you please send us a preset that demonstrates this issue? Greg Serious , I reported bugs in detail not only on this forum but also on kvr audio , pictures + sound It's all documented in this thread , routing a sine osc ( set to low freq ) or an lfo straight to the vca output ommiting ...

Re: Nasty artifacts ...oscillators
Sorry guys , but I am clearly hearing this ..it's a whinny high pitched sound Route a sine lfo directly to vca output , disable reverb and crank up the output https://i.imgur.com/AQAqCH9.jpg Sure it's not very loud , but loud enough to not unhear it Even when I am just using low pass filtered bass l...

Re: Nasty artifacts ...oscillators
What's the slope factor in your spectrum analyser ( set ti to +4.8db) ,and what sample rate frequency in renoise ( I use 44Khz) ? You can clearly hear it whn turning up the volume Some further testing , a sine lfo of 3 hz ( Three Hertz ) routed directly to the output bypassing the filter , same arti...
